A Cambridgeshire farmer has successfully cleared surplus machinery through Cheffins’ Monthly Machinery Sale at Sutton, near Ely, achieving a result well in excess of expectations.
Matt Bedford recently consigned a New Holland T7030 tractor to the sale, where it achieved £30,000 against a reserve of £17,500. Dating from 2007 and showing approximately 5,030 hours, the tractor was delivered to the Cheffins saleground ahead of the auction and professionally valeted by the machinery team. Strong pre-sale interest ensured competitive bidding, with the tractor ultimately selling to a buyer in Ireland.

Matt Bedford commented:
