Jack joined Cheffins in September 2023, regularly assisting at onsite farm auctions and at the Cambridge Machinery and Vintage sales whilst working for the Rural team. Qualifying as a Rural Chartered surveyor in 2025, Jack transferred to the onsite and vintage team in 2026. His role encompasses auctioneering and the valuation and sale of modern and vintage machinery and equipment, alongside providing professional advice to clients across the UK.
He plays an active role in the Cambridge Machinery Sales and the Cheffins Vintage Collective Auctions, assisting in the cataloguing, organisation and auctioneering of a wide range of tractors, plant, machinery and vehicles.
Jack undertakes valuations for a variety of purposes including loan security, insolvency, inheritance and capital gains tax, sale and purchase and business and family division. Many of these valuations are carried out under the RICS Registered Valuer Red Book standards.
